Stefano Ghirlanda – PI
I am interested in everything that concerns behavior – how behavior evolves, what are its organizing principles, how it is generated by nervous systems, and how it is shaped by nonsocial and social experiences. This broad interest has, over the years, materialized in
various research lines:
- Neural network modeling of nervous system operation, especially stimulus generalization and associative learning
- Evolution of behavior, including game-theoretical models and agent-based simulations
- Cultural evolution, especially theoretical models of cultural dynamics
Elsewhere on the Internet you can find my blog, my twitter account, my Google Scholar profile, and a good-old fashioned academic page with a CV.
